Telarus Recognizes Top Suppliers at its Sixth Annual Partner Summit

Comcast Business Tops the Supplier Stack for Fifth Consecutive Year

DEER VALLEY, UT – June 25, 2015 SANDY, UT — Telarus, Inc., master agent of business data, voice, and cloud services, today unveiled its top performing suppliers of 2016 during its annual Partner Summit in Park City, Utah.

“Congratulations to our Top Suppliers of 2016,” said Paula McKinnon, Telarus VP of supplier management.  “Each of them have gone above and beyond when it comes to creating products businesses are asking for: cloud computing and storage, dynamic WAN networks, and super-fast internet. On top of that, they’ve all invested heavily in their channel support organizations, giving them the resources they need to educate, help, and sell with our channel partners. Comcast Business, our top-selling supplier for 5 years in a row, is a shining example of what happens when a company continually reinvests in hiring top talent to work with distributors like Telarus. Their focus and hard work has paid off again.”

The complete list of Top Suppliers (by sales volume) of 2016 includes:

  • Comcast Business
  • Spectrum Enterprise
  • Level 3 Communications
  • ACC Business (A Division of AT&T)
  • Nitel

In addition to the top performing suppliers, Telarus also recognized the “top” providers and channel managers as voted by the Telarus partner community. These winners include:

  • Comcast Business (Best Overall Supplier)
  • Spectrum Enterprise (Most Improved Supplier)
  • BigLeaf Networks  (Best New Supplier)
  • Richard Fry (Level 3 Communications – Top National Channel Manager)
  • Charles Lomond (AireSpring – Top National Channel Manager)
  • Aaron Acree (Vonage Business – Top National Channel Manager)
  • Albert Kripovisk (Comcast Business – Top National Channel Manager)
  • Miranda Ruane (TPx – Top Local Channel Manager)
  • Willis Kenner (Comcast Business – Top Local Channel Manager)

“It is a huge priority for us to publicly recognize the hard work of people who go above and beyond for Telarus and our partners,” added Roger Blohm, EVP of Telarus. “Their willingness to work with us in the field to recruit new partners, to support our events, to allow us to co-locate our monitoring hardware in their data centers to provide transparency to the cloud, to keep our pricing and fiber tools up-to-date; it all blends into the recipe of a healthy channel selling community. Our 35 percent sales increase last year was fueled by the valiant effort of our supplier partners who don’t know the meaning of ‘that’s not my job.’ They make it happen again and again, and for that, we express our gratitude and appreciation.”

In addition to the awards banquet, the Telarus Partner Summit comprised three days of educational forums designed to help educate their partners on UCaaS, cloud, and SD-WAN technology and how to become expert consultants.  The conference commenced with a CEO Keynote discussion consisting of Don Joos, CEO of ShoreTel, Alan Maserek, CEO of Vonage, and Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus, and concluded with the release of MoonRize, a new technology that provides order status to the Telarus partner community.
