Former IBM Group CIO Joins
AireSpring Team in Newly Created Position
LOS ANGELES, CA - January 28, 2020 -- AireSpring is very pleased to announce that Yang Yu, former IBM Group Asia Pacific CIO, has joined our executive team as Senior VP of Information Technology. In this newly created role, Mr. Yu brings his deep experience in IT governance, enterprise transformation, software deployment, and solutions delivery architecture.
During more than 15 years with IBM, Mr. Yu progressed from Systems Engineer with IBM Global Services to Delivery Project Executive for implementation of the Blue Harmony software application through IBM worldwide. He went on to serve as IBM Group Asia Pacific CIO covering China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Most recently, Mr. Yu was CIO for Prolacta Bioscience, a pioneer in providing human milk-based nutritional products for premature infants.
Mr. Yu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Riverside, as well as an MBA with emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Finance from the prestigious Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Mr. Yu has added certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and certification in IT Architecture from The Open Group, a global technology standards consortium.
